NATS-CMU days

So very sorry to hear of our friend and colleague Brendan's passing. I remember Brendan from his very earliest NATS days when he could not find his suit for his interview- at the cleaner's I believe- which did not go down too well at the time, but he got the job anyway and brought a different perspective to CMU workshop life. For a while he produced a satirical magazine focussed on life in the workshop, quirky- but you could not help but laugh, even though it was shut down- suppression of free speech as Brendan would say! Having been a part of his earliest time in NATS it was an honour to also speak at his retirement, where we laughed about the various ups and downs of staff and management relations and the various characters we had worked with, so very sad that his retirement was not as long as it should have been. RIP mate.
